ConfIGUrInG THe n52te
Keymaps
The n52te Editor allows you to program three Keymaps: Blue, Red,
and Green. A Keymap all ows you to add anothe r layer of program ming
to each button. In orde r to switch between Keymaps during pl ay, you
must either dedicate a button for switchi ng to the desired Keymap, or
dedicate one to cycle thr ough all three Keym aps. Because the second
option of cycling through Keymaps requires only one button, t wo extra
buttonsarefreeforf urthercustomization.
note: Buttons that are selec ted for one of the se Keymap switching
options will be dedicate d to this function across all thre e Keymaps in the
current profile.
• ToprogramKeymapswitchingoptions,locateth edesiredn52te
button from the “Profil es” pane, and then from the “Assignmen t”
drop-down menu, selec t “Keymap”. The default switching
behavior is “Cycle Keymap s”. To choose a different one, select
from the options availabl e under the drop -down menu.
• Ifyouselect“Momentary”,then52tewill onlyloadthedesired
Keymap while you hold that button down. If you select
“Toggle”, the button acts like a sw itch and n52te will remain
in the desired Keymap un til another Keymap is selected.
• YoucanviewandeditdifferentKeymapsbys electing“Blue”,
“Red”, or “Green” under the “Keymap” drop-down menu.
