•Maintainsmoothandconsistentspeedwhichwillhelpavoidinconsistencies.Beginsprayingafterthepasshas
begunandreleasetriggerbeforestoppingthepass.
•Avoid spraying too heavily in any one area. Several lighter coats are better than one heavy coat which can lead to
runninganddripping.Rememberthattheflowcontrol knob regulates the amount of liquid thatcanbe sprayed. Turning
theflow knob counterclockwise increases the flow ofliquid.Turning the knob clockwise decreasestheflow of liquid. If
runsor drips do occur, have a dry paint brushon hand to smooth them out.
WARNING:ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD. When spraying overhead, never tip the sprayer more than
45degrees.The material being sprayed could leak into the motor housing.
TIP:If the atomizer valve is not seated
properly,spray material will leak from
behindthe spr ay nozzle. If material is
leaking,turn off and unplug sprayer from
powersource immediately.Follow these
steps to correct the problem:
•Unplugthesprayerfromthepowersource.

Ifproblem pres ists:
•Checkthatthesprayerisunpluggedfromthe
powersource.Removethespraynozzleby
turningcounterclockwise(figure N).Forthefan
nozzle,remembertopushandturn
counterclockwisetoremove.
•Removetheatomizerandchecktoseeifit
needstobecleanedorreplaced.Also check
insidethepumphousingforanydebrisor
obstructionandcleanifnecessary(figure N1).
•Replacetheatomizervalvemakingsureit
seatsproperly(figure N2).
•Thread the spray nozzle back onto the sprayer
byturningclockwise
(figureN3 ).
CLEANING
WARNING:Be sure to use appropriate protective gear.
•Makesurecleanupareaiswellventilatedandfreeofflammablevapors.
•Always spray outdoors when spraying cleaning solution through sprayer.
•Usedropclothsduringpouring,mixing,andviscositytestingofmaterialstobesprayedtoprotectyourfloorsand
anythingelseinthesprayingareathatyouwishtoremainuntouched.
USING THEQUICK CLEAN SYSTEM
Thequickcleansystemallowsforavarietyofusefulfunctions.
First,the system can allow youtospraywaterorasuitablecleaningliquidwhilethereisstillspraymaterialinthemain
canister.This isuseful whensetting upyour spraypattern with thefan nozzle. You canspray waterinstead ofwasting
spraymaterialtoviewthespraypattern.
Second,thequickcleansystemallowsyoutoflushthepumpassembly,the piston, the nozzle and the atomizer valve.
Whensprayingforlongperiodsoftime,spraymaterialmaybuildupcausingadeteriorationofthesprayquality.It is
goodtoflushthissystemwithwaterorcleaningliquidaftereveryotherspraymaterialrefill.Itisalsoimportanttoflush
thesystemwhenthesprayerwillsitformorethan15minuteswithoutuse.Spraymaterialcandryonthenozzleand
pumpassemblyandwouldrequireathoroughcleaning.Always oil piston if sitting idle for a long period of time. See
