4.5 Configuring User Definitions
You can use the “Configure User” page to assign a username, password, and profile for each user.

Here are the
User name
Use this field to define a name for each user that will be associated with that user’s access rights and characteristics. At any user station that has logins enabled (see Section 4.3), users must enter their usernames and passwords to log into the Matrix ServSwitch system. Usernames may be up to 8 characters long. Duplicate names may be used; however, all persons with the same username will have the same access rights. Factory defaults are “User 1” through “User16”.
Password
Use this field to assign a password to each user. At any user station that has logins enabled (see Section 4.3), users must enter their usernames and passwords to log into the Matrix ServSwitch system. Passwords can be up to 8 characters long and are
