Para evitar lesiones debidas a un

arranque accidental, saque el

enchufe del tomacorriente de la fuente de energía antes de hacer cualquier ajuste.

1. Botón de “Fijación en OFF” (apagado) del interruptor

Este botón debe estar oprimido para activar el interruptor de encendido.

2. Interruptor de encendido

El interruptor de encendido (utilizado con el botón de “Fijación en OFF”) enciende la unidad.

3. Mango con interruptor

Este mango contiene el interruptor. La hoja se baja hacia la pieza de trabajo empujando/tirando hacia abajo sobre el mango. No levante nunca la herramienta por el mango con interruptor.

4. Cierre del eje portaherramienta

Permite al usuario evitar que la hoja gire mientras aprieta o afloja el tornillo del eje portaherramienta al cambiar o quitar la hoja.

5. Protector inferior de la hoja/reborde del protector inferior

El protector inferior de la hoja ayuda a proteger las manos del ope- rador contra la hoja que gira. Se retrae al bajar la hoja. El reborde del protector se puede usar para subir manualmente el protector inferior, solamente según se recomienda en este manual.

6. Hoja

Utilice únicamente hojas de 10" de entre 1.4 y 3.0 mm de grosor, con un agujero para eje portaherramienta de 5/8".

7. Tope-guía estacionario

Soporta la pieza de trabajo. El tope-guía tiene una escala fundida para hacer cortes repetitivos fácilmente. El tope-guía también tiene agu- jeros que se usan para fijar un tope-guía auxiliar si así se desea.
