Slide Action Adjustment
Disconnect plug from power source
before performing any assembly,
adjustment or repair to avoid possible injury.
If the slide action on the miter saw is not easy to
actuate you will need to make needed adjustments to
correct. Use these instructions to adjust your
slide action.
1. Locate the 4 Set Screws (A, B, C, & D) on the
Rail Guide Housing.
2. Loosen the Nuts on all four set screws with an
adjustable wrench. Loosen all Set Screws.
3. Slowly tighten Set Screw (B) with the 4mm end
on the blade wrench. Stop when you feel the
screw touch the rail.
4. Tighten Set Screw (B) about 1/16 of a turn more.
5. Hold Set Screw (B) in place and tighten the nut.
Don’t let the Set Screw move.
6. Slowly tighten Set Screw (D). Stop when you feel
the screw touch the rail.
7. Hold Set Screw (D) in place and tighten the nut.
Don’t let the Set Screw move.
8. Slowly tighten Set Screw (A). Stop when you feel
the screw touch the rail.
9. Loosen Set Screw (A) less than 1/16 of a turn.
10. Hold Set Screw (A) in place and tighten the nut.
Don’t let the Set Screw move.
11. Repeat Steps 8-10 for Set Screw (C).

Troubleshooting
Adjusting Bevel LockLever Tension
1.Lift bevel lock lever to release bevel lock.
2.Place 17mm socket wrench on bolt head “E”
(Figure 40).
3.Turn nut “E” clockwise 1/8 turn to tighten bevel
lock tension or turn counter-clockwise to 1/8 turn
to loosen bevel lock tension.
4.Push down bevel lock lever until you feel the lever
snap into the locked position.
5.Verify that bevel lock tension holds the bevel posi-
tion secure and also allows bevel lock lever to lock
down to the point that a solid stop is felt.
6.If necessary, repeat steps 1–5 to adjust the tension.
