Fan the stack of paper well to avoid paper jams and mis-feeds.

Gently insert the paper int o the paper tray print side face do wn

and the leading edge (top of t he paper) in first.

Check that the paper i s flat in the tray and be low the maximum

paper mark.

When you use Legal size paper, op en the tray cover, and then

press and hold the universal g uide release button as you slide

out the front of the paper tr ay.

Make sure the paper sid e guides and paper length gui de touch

the sides of the paper.
