Delayed Fax (Not available f or color faxes)
During the day you can stor e up to 50 faxes in the mem ory to be sent
within 24 hours. These faxe s will be sent at the time of day you en ter
in Step 4.

If it is not illuminated in green, press (Fax).

Load your document.

Press Menu/Set, 2, 2, 3.

Press Menu/Set to accept the
displayed time .
—OR—
Enter the time you want the f ax to be sent (in 24-hour format) .
Press Menu/Set.
(For example, enter 19:45 for 7:45 PM.)
Setting up Polled Transmit
(Not available for color faxes)
Polled Transmit is when you set up your MFC to wait with a
document so another fax machine can call and retrieve it.

Load your document.

Press Menu/Set, 2, 2, 6.

Press ▲ or ▼ to choose On (or Off).
Press Menu/Set.
The number of pages you can scan into the memory depends
on the amount of data that is printed on each page.
The document will be stored and can be retrieved from an y other
fax machine until you delete the fax in memory by using the
Canceling a Job menu setting. (See Canceling a scheduled job
on page 3-11.)
