Using the Tray Select key (MFC-5840CN on ly)

The MFC uses the paper i n Tray#1 first. You c an change the tray t hat

will be used for next copy only.

Press (Copy) to illuminate it in green.

Load your document.

Use the dial pad to enter the nu mber of copies you want

(up to 99).

Press Tray Select.

Press ▲ or ▼ to select

Auto

#1(xxx)

#2(xxx)

Press Menu/Set.

Press Black Start or Color Start.

■If both trays are using paper that is the same type and size,

Auto

will allow your MFC to take paper from Tray#2 if

Tray#1 is out of paper.

■You can only use plain paper sizes Letter, Legal or A4 in

Tray#2.
