This section describes how to attach the embroidery foot "Q".

If you need to replace the embroidery foot, attach the embroidery foot "Q" as follows.

CAUTION

●Always use the embroidery foot "Q" when embroidering. If the wrong embroidery foot is used, the needle may hit the embroidery foot and bend or break.

aPress (Needle position button) once or twice to raise the needle.

Note

zThe needle is correctly raised when the mark on the handwheel is at the top. Check the handwheel mark is at the top position.

bTurn off the machine.

CAUTION

zBefore attaching the embroidery foot, be sure to turn off the machine. Otherwise, injuries may occur if one of the operation buttons is accidentally pressed and the machine starts embroidering.

cRaise the presser foot lever.

dHold the embroidery foot "Q" with your right hand, as shown.

Hold the embroidery foot with your index finger wrapped around the lever at the back of the foot.
