LOWER THREADING

aIf the thread becomes tangled under the

bobbin winder seat, press once to stop the bobbin winding.

bCut the thread with scissors near the pre-tension disk.

aPre-tension disk

cPush the bobbin winder switch to the right, and then raise the bobbin at least 10 cm (4 inches) from the shaft.

dCut the thread near the bobbin and hold the thread end with your left hand. Unwind the thread clockwise near the bobbin winder seat with your right hand as shown below.

eWind the bobbin again.

Make sure that the thread passes through the pre-tension disk correctly (page B-42).

CAUTION

Use a bobbin thread that has been correctly wound. Otherwise, the needle may break or the thread tension will be incorrect.

The included bobbin was designed specifically for this sewing machine. If bobbins from other models are used, the machine will not operate correctly. Use only the included bobbin or bobbins of the same type (part code: SA156, (SFB: XA5539-151)).
