6Export Paper Size List...

Exports the settings for the paper formats in the [Currently Registered Paper Sizes] list. The exported list can then be distributed to other computers. For details, see Distributing Paper Formats uu page 30.

7Register Paper Size With Printer

Registers the settings for the selected paper format in the printer.

8Save Paper Size Commands

Uses the settings for the paper as an added command and exports it as a file. The file extension is “.bin”.

Note

If you use the following methods, you can apply these settings to the printer easily.

Mass storage feature (see Mass Storage uu page 44)

Bluetooth (Object Push Profile (OPP))

Wi-Fi (File Transfer Profile (FTP))

These settings commands are only intended for use for applying to printer settings. Saved commands cannot be imported to the Custom Label Tool.

e Click [New].

The [New] dialog box appears.

Using the Printer

f Click [Advanced Printing Adjustments...] to specify the following settings for each paper size.

Under [Printing Reference Point

Adjustment], the printing position can

be adjusted.

g Under [Energy Rank], the print energy (density) can be adjusted.

h Enter the settings for the paper to be used, and then click [Add].

A new paper format is created.

i Click [Exit].

Note

When the [Paper Size Setup] dialog box is displayed again, the added paper format will appear in the [Currently Registered Paper Sizes] list. If the application is running, exit the application, and then start it again in order for the new paper format to appear in the [Currently Registered Paper Sizes] list.
