Realigning the pattern
The pattern may not be sewn correctly, depending on
the type of fabric being sewn or the sewing speed. If
this occurs, adjust the pattern while sewing on a
piece of scrap fabric that is the same as that used for
your project.
Memo
zOnly the eyelet stitch in the utility stitches,
cross-stitches, and character stitches can be
adjusted using the pattern alignment stitch.
aAttach monogramming foot "N".

foot" (page 43).
bPress (Utility stitch key) on the
operation panel, and select (Decorative
stitch).
XThe screen containing the various decorative
stitches appears.
cSelect .
XThe pattern alignment stitch is selected.
dStart sewing.
XThe pattern for making the adjustment is
sewn.
XThe sewing machine stops after sewing the
pattern has finished.
eCheck the sewn pattern.
If the part of the pattern indicated in the
illustration is sewn uniformly, the pattern is
correctly aligned.
If the pattern is not sewn correctly, follow the
steps below to adjust the sewing.
fPress (Settings key) on the operation
panel.
XThe settings screen appears.
gPress for vertical pattern
adjustment.
XMake the necessary adjustments according
to how the pattern is sewn.
Press to increase the vertical space in the
design.
