Changing the Presser Foot

It may be necessary to change the presser foot according to your sewing needs.

SNAP-ON TYPE

1.Raise the needle to its highest position by turning the balance wheel toward you (counterclockwise) and raise the presser foot lifter.

2.Release the foot by raising the lever located at the back of the presser foot holder assembly.

3.Place a different presser foot on the needle plate so that the bar on the presser foot is in line with the slot on the shank.

4.Lower the presser foot lifter and fix the presser foot onto the shank. If the presser foot is in the correct location, the bar should snap in.

Changement de pied-de-biche

En fonction des besoins, il peut s’avérer nécessaire de changer le pied-de-biche.

MODELE A CLIQUET

1.Remonter complètement l’aiguille en tournant le volant vers soi (dans le sens opposé aux aiguilles d’une montre) et remon- ter le levier du pied-de-biche.

2.Libérer le pied en levant le levier situé à l’arrière du support.

3.Placer un pied différent sur la plaque à aiguille de telle manière que la tige du pied-de-biche s’aligne avec la fente de la fixa- tion.

4.Abaisser le levier du pied-de-biche et fixer le pied sur l’axe. Si le pied-de-biche est mis correctement, la tige devrait se mettre en place d’elle même avec un déclic.

Nähfuß wechseln

Es kann nötig sein, den Nähfuß zu wechseln, je nachdem, was Sie nä- hen möchten.

SCHNAPPVERSCHLUSS

1.Bringen Sie die Nadel auf die höchste Position, indem Sie das Schwungrad auf sich zu bewegen (entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn). Heben Sie dann den Nähfußhebel an.

2.Lösen Sie den Fuß, indem Sie den Hebel an der Rückseite des Nähfußhalters anheben.

3.Setzen Sie einen anderen Nähfuß auf die Stichplatte, so daß der Querbalken auf dem Nähfuß mit dem Schlitz auf der Stoffdrückers- tange eine Linie bildet.

4.Senken Sie den Nähfußhebel und fixieren Sie den Nähfuß auf der Stoffdrückerstange. Wenn der Nähfuß richtig ausgerichtet ist, sollte der Querbalken einrasten.

De persvoet vervangen

Voor het uitvoeren van de verschillende functies met uw machine, zijn er verschillende naaldvoeten, ook wel ‘persvoeten’ genoemd, nodig.

TYPE MET KNIPBEVESTIGING

1.Draai het handwiel naar u toe (linksom) en zet de naald in de hoog- ste positie. Trek de persvoethendel omhoog.

2.Zet de persvoet los door de hendel aan de achterkant van de pers- voethouder omhoog te trekken.

3.Zet vervolgens de gewenste persvoet los op de naaldplaat, en zorg dat de pin in de persvoet recht onder de uitsparing in de houder staat.

4.Laat de persvoethendel weer zakken en zet de persvoet vast op de houder. Wanneer de persvoet juist is aangebracht, klikt de pin pre- cies in de juiste positie in de uitsparing.
