TFTP Download Menu

Use the TFTP Download menu to load software updates into the hub over the network. The download file should be an ELH100-12/24TX binary file from Cabletron; otherwise, the agent module will not accept it. The success of the download operation depends on the accessibility of the TFTP server and the quality of the network connection. After downloading new software, the agent module will automatically restart itself. Parameters shown on this screen are indicated in the following figure and table.

Start TFTP Download

Issues request to TFTP server to download the specified file.

 

 

After the TFTP download is completed, the hub takes approximately two minutes to restart. There is no apparent activity during this time. You should wait until the restart has completed.
