SPECIFICATIONS
This appendix lists the specifications and regulatory requirements for the HSIM-G01 and HSIM-G09. Cabletron Systems reserves the right to change these specifications at any time without notice.
The HSIM-G01 and HSIM-G09 are both fiber optic devices with an SC connector. The HSIM-G01 supports multimode (MMF) fiber cable, and the HSIM-G09 supports both multimode and single mode (SMF) fiber cable, as indicated in Table A-1below. To use multimode fiber with the HSIM-G09, Launch Mode Conditioning cable must be used. Refer to Section 2.3.2 for details.
