Using Digital Effects
You can use the digital effects during recording and playback.
Faders ( 63): Begin or end scenes with a fade to or from black.
Effects ( 66): Add flavor to your recordings.

❍Turn off the digital effect when you do not use it.
Press the DIGITAL EFFECTS button to open the menu. Select [D.EFFECTS ] and press the DIGITAL EFFECTS button.
❍The camcorder retains the setting even if you turn it off or change the program AE mode.
❍The digital effect turns off if you switch the program selector to [.
❍Digital effects can be selected but not activated on a blank blue screen (appears in PLAY (VCR) mode).
❍Digital effects activated during playback do not change the recording.
❍Digital effects cannot be used during DV dubbing and photo/date search.
❍The image quality may be slightly lower with digital effects.
