Open the menu and select [DISPLAY SET UP]. Select [D/TIME SEL.], set it to [DATE] or [TIME] and close the menu.

Only date and time appear in CARD PLAY (VCR) mode.
Date and time appear for 6 seconds when you begin playback, or to indicate that date or time zone has changed.
