Manual Exposure Shooting
You can freely set the shutter speed, aperture, and ISO speed for movie shooting. Using manual exposure to shoot movies is for advanced users.
1 Set the Mode Dial to <k>.
X The reflex mirror will make a sound, then the image will appear on the LCD monitor.
2Select [Movie exposure].
Press the <M> button and under the [Z1] tab, select [Movie exposure], then press <0>.
3 Select [Manual]. |

4Set the shutter speed and aperture.

<O> + <6> | <6> dial. The settable shutter |

speeds depend on the frame rate <9>.
•8/7 : 1/4000 sec. - 1/60 sec.
•6/5/4: 1/4000 sec. - 1/30 sec. To set the aperture, hold down the <O> button and turn the <6> dial.
5 Set the ISO speed.
Press the <D> button and press the <Y> <Z> keys or turn the <6> dial to select the ISO speed.
