Cannot send images.

•The destination device has insufficient storage space. Increase the storage space on the destination device and resend the images.

•The write-protect tab of the memory card in the destination camera is set to the locked position. Slide the write-protect tab to the unlocked position.

•Images are not sent to CANON iMAGE GATEWAY or other Web services if you move or rename image files or folders on the computer that received images sent using

Image Sync via an access point (=108). Before moving or renaming these image files or folders on the computer, make sure the images have already been sent to

CANON iMAGE GATEWAY or other Web services.

Cannot resize images for sending.

•Images cannot be resized to be bigger than the resolution setting of their original size.

•Movies cannot be resized.

Images take a long time to send./The wireless connection is disrupted.

•Multiple images may take a long time to send. Try resizing the image to [] or [ ] to reduce sending time (=103).

•Movies may take a long time to send.

•Do not use the camera near sources of Wi-Fi signal interference, such as microwave ovens, Bluetooth devices, or other equipment operating on the 2.4 GHz band. Note that images may take a long time to send even when [] is displayed.

•Bring the camera closer to the other device you are trying to connect to (such as the access point), and make sure there are no objects between the devices.

Want to erase Wi-Fi connection information before disposing of the camera or giving it to someone else.

•Reset the Wi-Fi settings (=112).

On-Screen Messages

If an error message is displayed, respond as follows.

No memory card

•The memory card may be inserted facing the wrong way. Reinsert the memory card facing the correct way (=11).

Memory card locked

•The write-protect tab of the memory card is set to the locked position. Switch the write-protect tab to the unlocked position (=11).

Cannot record!

•Shooting was attempted without a memory card in the camera. To shoot, insert a memory card facing the correct way (=11).

Memory card error (=117)

•If the same error message is displayed even after you have formatted a supported memory card (=2) and have inserted it facing the correct way (=11), contact

a Canon Customer Support Help Desk.

Insufficient space on card

•There is not enough free space on the memory card to shoot (=24, 40, 51) or edit images (=80 – 83). Either erase unneeded images (=76) or insert a memory card with enough free space (=11).

Charge the battery (=10)

No Image.

•The memory card does not contain any images that can be displayed.

Protected! (=73)

Unidentified Image/Incompatible JPEG/Image too large./Cannot play back MOV/Cannot play back MP4

•Unsupported or corrupt images cannot be displayed.

•It may not be possible to display images that were edited or renamed on a computer, or images shot with another camera.
