CAUTION
Unplug the printer when not in use.
Not doing so could result in electrical shock or fire.
Getting Started
This section will prepare you to start printing images. The postcard size cartridge (sold separately)
(p. 3) will be used as an example in this section. However, you can print with other cartridges using the same steps.
Inserting the Cartridge into SELPHY
1 |
| Prepare the cartridge. |
| If there is an orange stopper attached to the | |
|
| cartridge, remove it as shown in the illustration. |
|
| Check that the ink sheet is taut with no slack. |
Ink sheet |
| If the ink sheet is slack, insert the cleaner unit |
|
| (p. 3) as shown in the illustration and turn it |
|
| slowly to take up the slack. If you overwind the |
|
| ink sheet, it may not be possible to use all the |
|
| paper for printing and the ink sheet may tear. |
| Clip | Check that the protective paper is correctly |
| loaded in the cartridge. If the protective sheet | |
|
| |
|
| has come out from under the clips, use your |
protective paper |
| finger to push it back under the clips. |
