Image Brightness (Exposure Compensation)
Correcting Image BrightnessBefore shooting, excessively bright or dark image areas (such as faces or backgrounds) can be detected and automatically adjusted to the optimal brightness.
To avoid
•Under some shooting conditions, correction may be inaccurate or
may cause images to appear grainy.
• You can also correct existing images (p. 167).
• You can customize camera operation so that turning the zor 7 dial adjusts DR Correction or Shadow Correct settings (p. 133).
Dynamic Range Correction (DR Correction)
Choose from three correction methods.
Press the mbutton, choose in the menu,
and choose the desired option (p. 44).
Once the setting is complete, @is displayed.
•With and , the ISO speed will be restored to if you attempt
to set a speed higher than | . |
•With , the ISO speed will be restored to if you attempt to set a speed lower than .
•With , the ISO speed will be restored to if you attempt to set a speed lower than .
