Shooting Movies in E Mode

Enter Emode.

Set the mode dial to E.

Configure the settings to suit the movie (pp. 230 – 238).

Shoot.

Press the movie button.

To stop movie recording, press the movie button again.

Locking or Changing Image Brightness Before Shooting

Before shooting, you can lock the exposure or change it in 1/3-stop increments within a range of –2 to +2.

Lock the exposure.

Press the button to lock the exposure. The exposure shift bar is displayed.

To unlock the exposure, press the button again.

Adjust the exposure.

Turn the 7dial to adjust the exposure, as you watch the screen.

Shoot.
