Using the CUSTOM Key

You can assign to the CUSTOM key one of four frequently used functions. You can then activate the selected function using the CUSTOM key, without having to access any menu.

[ OFF]

No function is assigned.

[ ASST.FUNC.] (Mode switch: )

Repeatedly press USTOM to turn on/off the assist functions ( 45), which make sure you adjust the focus and exposure correctly.

[ MARKERS]

You can activate markers ( 45) to aid in framing the subject.

[ BLC] (Mode switch: )

Press CUSTOM to turn on/off the automatic backlight correction ( 52).

[ MAGNIFY]

Press CUSTOM to magnify the image at the center of the screen ( 53).
