Areas of Use and Restrictions

To comply with local radio wave regulations in various areas around the world, Canon offers four region-specific versions of the transmitter (WFT-E2 IIA, E2 IIB, E2 IIC, and E2 IID) as described below. Please do not use your model (version) of transmitter in regions it was not designed for.

In mainland China, outdoor use requires a permit in some areas.

IEEE 802.11a Restrictions

When IEEE 802.11a wireless networking is used, channels in gray in the following table cannot be used. These restrictions are established by local regulations, which must be upheld.

The transmitter can be used on channels in blue. Regarding channels in yellow, some restrictions apply. Refer to the footnotes.
