Introduction

Attaching the Ferrite Cores

The Stereo Video cable STV-250N and the S-video cable S-150 with the ferrite core provided with the digital Video Camcorder must be used with this equipment in order to comply with the technical requirement of EMC Directive.

Attach the enclosed ferrite cores before you connect the STV-250N Stereo Video Cable and S- 150 S-video Cable.

Attach the ferrite core to the cable about 6 cm from the plug end (the plug to be connected to the camcorder) of the STV-250N Stereo Video Cable and S-150 S-video Cable.

Pass the cable through the centre of the core and wrap it around the core once, then close the unit until it clicks shut.

There are two kinds of ferrite cores; the small one for the S-150 S-video Cable and the large one for the STV-250N Stereo Video Cable.
