Configuring the Auto Dimmer (IT-700M30E/M30RC)
The auto dimmer helps to conserve battery power by dimming the screen whenever you do not perform any Pocket PC Terminal operation for a preset amount of time. Use the following procedure to configure auto dimmer settings.
1.Tap the

3.Tap the [Auto Dim] tab.
4.Follow the instructions that appear on the display to configure auto dimmer.
Enabling and Disabling the Backlight (IT-70M30E/M30RC)
When the backlight is enabled, the screen of the Pocket PC Terminal illuminates for easy viewing when you perform an operation where lighting is dim.
•Press [Fn] and then [7] to toggle the backlight between enabled and disabled.
