•Notebook computers equipped with an infrared port and modem may not be
configured so the COM port is the default serial interface. In this case, you need to
change the COM port configuration so the COM port is used as the default serial
interface.
•Even if you are using a desktop PC, check its COM port numbers before installing
Windows® CE Services. For details about how to do this, see the documentation that
comes with your computer.
