Configuring End Measure Settings

End Measure settings specify the number of measures (up to a maximum of 16) in the phrase. Phrase recording stops automatically when it reaches the number of measures specified by the End Measure setting.

Auto : No number of measures is specified. The number of measures where phrase recording was stopped is applied automatically.

1 to 16 : Phrase recording stops when it reaches the specified number of measures.

Pressing the bm (SYS SETTING) button will display a menu of the detailed settings shown below. Use the dt down (w) and ek up (q) buttons to select a parameter and then use the eo minus (–)and plus (+) buttons to change its setting.

Pressing the ep (EDIT) button will display a screen for configuring Guide Beat (click), precount, and End Measure beat settings.

Use the dt (w) and ek (q) buttons to select “Beat”, and then use the eo minus (–)and plus (+) buttons to select a beat within the ranges of 2/4 to 8/4, or 2/8 to 16/8.

2. Start recording.

Recording is performed as a Zone 1 stage setup phrase. For details about zones, see the separate “Tutorial”.

3.After you finish recording, save the data as described below.

For details about how to do this, see “Saving Data” in “Operations Common to All Modes” (page E-11).

The message “Memory Full” will appear on the display when recording is not possible because there is not enough memory capacity available. If this happens, record a different phrase that does not take up so much memory.
