Ethernet cable devices, for example, a data terminal equipment (DTE) and a data communications equipment (DCE) device. A straight-through Ethernet cable is the most common cable used.

T

TO HUB/TO PC The Cisco 802 IDSL and Cisco 804 IDSL routers provide a TO HUB/TO PC

buttonbutton that is equivalent to the HUB/NO HUB button on the other Cisco 800 series routers. This button is associated with the Ethernet port on the Cisco 802 IDSL router and with Ethernet port 1 on the Cisco 804 IDSL router. The setting of this button determines the cable type (straight-through or crossover) that you will use to connect an Ethernet device.
