Port Adapter Slot Locations on the Supported Platforms

Cisco 7513 routers have eleven slots for port adapters, and two slots for RSPs. The slots are numbered from left to right. You can place the port adapters in any of the VIP interface slots (slots 0 through 5, or slots 9 through 12). Slots 6 and 7 are always reserved for RSPs. Figure 1-22shows the slot numbering on a Cisco 7513 router.
