DETAILED STEPS
Command or Action Purpose
Step1 Connect a terminal to the console port of the DSC
(DSDRSC of the owner SDR).
Note If an IP address has not yet been assigned to the
Management Ethernet port, you must connect a
terminal directly to the console port of the DSC.
Step2 admin
Example:
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router# admin
Enters Administration EXEC mode.
Step3 configure
Example:
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router(admin)# configure
Enters Administration configuration mode.
