[Function]

Defines the alphanumeric and Kana character downloading character font. s indicates the number of bytes in the vertical direction.

n indicated the starting character code, and m indicates the finishing character code. When defining only 1 character, n should be made equal to m.

The character codes that may be defined are the total of 95 characters of ASCII code in the range between <20>H and <7E>H.

a indicates the number of dots defining the horizontal direction.

p is the data for defining, and indicates a pattern that is an a-pot portion from the left margin in the horizontal direction. The remaining pattern to the right side will be filled up with spaces, and the number of pieces of data for defining will be s ⋅ a.

Once the downloading characters have been defined, the characters will remain valid until other characters are defined, or until the ESC @ or GS * commands are executed, or until the power is switched off.
