4.7 Self-PrintingFunction(1) Test Printing By supplying power as pus hing the LF switch, t he characters for use, ROM ver sion, DIP
switchsetting, and model name can be printed.
After test pri nting, perform ordina ry operation.
By sending RESET signal s as pushing t he LF switch, perfor m test printing.
During self printing, BUSYsi gnal is being outputted .
Inthis test printing, the following information is printed.
1 ) Specified countr y for internati onal character
2) CR + LF function
3) Direction of print character
4) Communicationcondition (Serial interface only)
(2) Hex decimal dump mode
Inthis mode, all ofthe data sent from the host is printed atHex decimal code. In case that the dataof
last line is not enough for one line, the dataof lastline is printedby pressing LF switch.
Thismode canbe available by turning ON the Dip Switch DS1- 8.
After Power is ON (after printing, if self print is conducted), this mode is available.
This modecan be kept until Power is OFF.
Tochange to normal print mode, turn Power OFF a fter turning Dip switch DS1-8 OFF, a ndthen turn
PowerON.
This function is only available for 40 c olumnsmodel.
Thisfunction is not available for 24 columnsmodel.
