connection. If you are using an Ethernet connection, then you must set the two ports in the TCP/IP Network Auto-Connect Settings box.

CAUTION

Do not use a sharp object (pencil or pen point, paper clip, etc.) on the touch screen as it may scratch or tear the screen. Clean the screen with a microfiber cloth such as is used to clean eyeglasses. A soft cloth slightly dampened with clear water may be used for hard-to-remove spots. Turn the Clarity off before cleaning the screen.

The Clarity is equipped with a touch screen display. A mouse and keyboard can be installed on the rear bulkhead if desired. A mouse is recommended to have at all times for manual alignment of progressives, bifocals and trifocals. There are two USB ports that can be used as well as two PS-2 connectors at the rear of the machine. (See Fig. 1.3) If you install a PS-2 mouse or keyboard while the machine is ON, you will have to reboot the machine (cycle the power OFF and then ON) for the machine to recognize

there is a device connected.

Once the unit is powered ON, it will boot to the main Job screen. (See Fig. 2.1.) The program will open, initialize communications, and the camera will go through several checks.
