4. Use a screwdriver to carefully push the CD device assembly 1 out of the computer at point 2 .

Push the CD device out off the computer at point 2.

5.Insert the new device and carefully slide it into the computer (the device only fits one way. DO NOT FORCE IT; The screw holes should line up.
6.Replace the memory socket cover (be careful with the fan cable) and the 6 screws (see page 2 - 12 ).
7.Restart the computer to allow it to automatically detect the new device.
