To remove the modem, complete the following steps:
1.Prepare the computer for disassembly.
2.Remove the palmrest cover with touch pad.
3.Remove the heatspreader.
4.Remove the keyboard.
5.Remove two screws securing modem and pull the modem off the connector on the system board.
