Before removing the Bluetooth module, follow these steps:
1.Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

5.Remove the following components:
a.Hard drive (see “Hard drive” on page
b.Optical drive (see “Optical drive” on page
c.Keyboard and switch cover (see “Keyboard and switch cover” on page
d.Speaker (see “Speaker” on page
e.Display assembly (see “Display assembly” on page
f.Top cover (see “Top cover” on page
Remove the Bluetooth module and cable:
1.Disconnect the Bluetooth module cable 1 from the system board.
2.Remove the Bluetooth module cable from the clips 2 and routing channel built into the base enclosure.
3.Remove the Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws 3 that secure the Bluetooth module to the base enclosure.
4.Remove the Bluetooth module and cable 4.
Reverse this procedure to install the Bluetooth module.
