Speech Minimum Volume Control

• Adjust the Speech Minimum Volume level with the j and k buttons.
Press the k button to increase the Speech Minimum Volume level. Press
the j button to lower the Speech Minimum Volume level. The highest
Speech Minimum Volume setting is 30%.
NOTE: While adjusting the Speech Minimum Volume level, the Speech
Volume level can be adjusted by turning the volume control clockwise to
raise the volume, or counterclockwise to lower the volume. When adjusting
the volume, the display will change to indicate the volume level.
• Press MENU or ENTER to save changes and return to the previous screen.
Set the Speech Maximum
Volume The Speech Maximum Volume control is used to set the highest volume setting of
the SPEECH output. The RECORD and PROGRAM outputs are not affected by
changes made to the Speech Maximum Volume level.
To set the Speech Maximum Volume level:
• Access the Speech Output menu as described on page 43.
• Press the k or j buttons until “Max Volume” is displayed on the LCD and
press ENTER to open the Speech Maximum Volume controls.

Press the k button to increase the Speech Maximum Volume level. Press
the j button to lower the Speech Maximum Volume level. The lowest
Speech Maximum Volume setting is 50%.
