Raise the Projection Screen Press the button labeled SCREEN UP to raise the projector screen.
NOTE: This function will only work if a projection screen’s control lines have been
connected to RELAY 1 (up control) and RELAY 2 (down control).
Adjust the Volume Level The volume control of the MPS-250 consists of three parts; a program volume
control, a speech volume control, and a master volume control. The program and
speech volumes can be controlled independently of each other or can be jointly
controlled from the master volume control as shown in the following diagram.

PROGRAM volume is set to Program Start volume when
SYS PWR is pressed. SPEECH volume is set to Speech Start volume when
SYS PWR is pressed.
MASTER volume is set to Master Start
volume when SYS PWR is pressed.
The volume level of the MPS-250 is adjusted with the volume control knob. The
volume control knob will only control the volume parameter that was selected when
the Volume Control Mode was specified as described on 46.
NOTE: If the volume control mode is set to the user-selectable mode, press the soft
button labeled “PGM VOL” to control the PROGRAM output volume or the soft
button labeled “SPCH VOL” to control the SPEECH output volume.
• Raise the volume: Turn the volume control clockwise. The volume level
will be displayed on the LCD.
• Lower the volume: Turn the volume control counterclockwise. The
volume level will be displayed on the LCD.
Mute Audio The audio output of the MPS-250 can be muted with the MUTE button.
• Mute the audio output: Press the button labeled MUTE.
• Unmute the audio output: Press the MUTE button again.
