Each time you click on the “Zoom Out” button in the searching range adjustment toolbox, the displayed time period will be double in the center of the original time period unless the start time or end time exceeds the whole database time- boundary. The scale of the pull bar and alert histogram window change. The period start and end time change as well. The period selector will show the new start and end time. And the display area will restart and display the new period from the newly defined start time.

Full Range

When you click on the “Full Range” button, you will get the same functionality as when you change the playback method selector to “Full Range.”

System Control Toolbox

The system control toolbox provides some basic operations for the playback program. The figure below shows the three elements of the system control toolbox, i.e. “Lock Window”, “Settings”, “Minimize”, and “Exit.”

Lock Window

If you are away from your computer, for security reasons, we recommend that you to close the playback program or you can just click on the “Lock Window” button to lock the main window. Once you click this button, the main window will be hidden and the login dialog will appear. To return to the main window, you need to re-enter the admin’s password again.
