Removing the Card
Replacing the Card
CAUTION: Before you begin any of the procedures in this section, follow the safety instructions in the Product Information Guide.
NOTICE: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such as a connector on the back of the computer).
NOTICE: To help prevent damage to the system board, you must remove the battery from the battery bay before you begin working inside the computer.
If you ordered a card with Bluetooth wireless technology with your computer, it is already installed.
Removing the Card
1.Follow the procedures in Before You Begin.
2.Remove the center control cover (see Removing the Hinge Covers and Center Control Cover).
3.Remove the bluetooth cable from its routing.
4.Pull the bluetooth card out of the box.

5.Disconnect the cable connector from the card.
6.Remove the card from the computer.
Replacing the Card
1.Connect the cable connector to the card.
2.Insert the bluetooth card into the box.
3.Replace the center control cover (see Replacing the Hinge Covers and Center Control Cover).
