4. Screw the hose bib onto the male fitting located at the bottom of the hot tub on the pedestal, Figure 9, to the lower left of the equipment compartment.

5.Close the valve on the side of the hose bib and screw the cap onto the end of the hose bib.
6.Check the pump unions, Figures 10 and 11, to be sure that they are tight to prevent the possibility of leakage in the equipment compartment.

7.Also, open the bleeder valve(s) located next to the sidewall of the skimmer area, Figure 12, to allow air to escape from the pump(s).
