5. Plugthe power adapter into the power outletand router.
6. Power on the computer ; then power on the router.
Note:
If connecting via USB, the Plug- and-Play process for installing the USB drivers b egins as
soon as you turn on your computer and the rout er device is discovered. Insert the
SpeedStream CD-RO M and follow the instruct ions on the screens to insta ll the drivers.
Ethernet Installation Method
1. Connect the Ethernet stra ight through cable to the Ethernet port on the router .
2. Connect the other end of t he Ethernet cable to t he Ethernet port on your computer.
3. Plug the phone cab le into the DSL port on the router.
4. Plug the other end of t he phone cable into the phone jack.
Note:
If usinga two-to-oneadapter, plug the cable intothe open socket.
5. Plugthe power adapter onto the power outletand router.
6. Power on the computer ; then power on the router.
There is no router sof tware installation r equired when using the Ethernet connection method.
Refer to your Internet Service Provider’s inst ructions for installing their softwar eand/ or
connecting to the Internet.
