Information
Minimum System Requirements
Make sure your P C is equipped at minimum with the following:
• A networkadapter card that supports Ethernet 10BASE-T/half duplex (if using Ethernetconnectivity
option)
• Operatingsystem that supports TCP /IP over Ethernet
• Internet Explorer or Netsca pever sions 4.0 or later
• If connecting to the router via USB, your system must be equipped with the following:
-Windows 98, Windows 98 Second E dition (SE), Windows 2000 Pr ofessional,
Windows Millennium Edition (ME), or Windows XP
-32 MB RAM
-Pentium-compatible 166 MHz process or for USB installation (or higher, depending upon
OperatingS ystem)
-10 MB available har d disk space (for USB ins tallation)
Hardware Description
Access speed to the Internet depends on your service type. Fu ll-rate ADSL provides u p to 8 Mbps
downstreamand 640 Mbps upstream. G.lite providesup to 1.5 Mbps downstream and 512 Kbps upstream
This SpeedStream rou ter includes an LED displa y on the front panel for syst emp ower and port indicators
that simplify installa tion and network troubleshoot ing. The rear panel pr ovides port connections (DSL,
USB, Console, 10Base-T ), power connections, the Power switch (PWR-S W), and the Reset button.
