Enabling Pseudo Interlace

The input interlace signal is displayed as it is without conversion, enabling ima ges with a CRT-like texture to
be displayed.
Procedure
1. Choose “Screen” f rom the Adjustment menu, and press .
2. Choose “HDMI Set tings” from “Screen”, and press .
3. Choose “Pseudo Interla ce”, and press .
4. Select “On” or “Off ” with or .
5. Press to exit.
Attention
• This f unction is enabled only during t he 1080i signal input.
• When “Pseudo I nterlace” is in operation dur ing the HDMI (HD) signal input, the scr een size is “Dot by Dot” despite the
setting.
• The following f unctions are disabled while the pse udo interlace is displayed.

• Before the calibr ation is performed using SelfCa libration and ColorNavigator, set “Pseudo Interfa ce” to “Off”.
Setting Safe Area
The “safe area” is an area in which images can be displayed on any display device. Th is function displays the
safe area to allow you to view the layout of the subtitles and menu windows without using any special softwa re.
It enables the positions to be adjusted within the safe area du ring video editing.
Attention
• The optim al safe area is displayed when the aspect r atio is 16:9 or 4:3.

Showing/hiding

Select whether or not to display the safe area.
Procedure
1. Choose “Screen” f rom the Adjustment menu, and press .
2. Choose “HDMI Set tings” from “Screen”, and press .
3. Choose “Safe Area Ma rker”, and press .
4. Select “On” or “Off ” with or .
5. Press to exit.

• The safe area s etting is saved even after the power is t urned off using the main power sw itch or .
