Chapter 4 SelfCalibration

This product is equipped with a built-in calibration sen sor. The conditions that have been adjusted using
ColorNavigator and the measurement device can be maintained.
As the adjustment targets or interval t imes for SelfCalibration are set in advance using ColorNavigator, the built-in
calibration sensor automatically executes regular calib ration.
Monitor operation and setting are not necessar y when ColorNavigator is used.
If ColorNavigator cannot be run due to the usage environment , SelfCalibration can be executed for an independent
monitor.
Note
• The measu rement results from the built-in ca libration sensor can be correlat ed with the measurement resu lts from the
measurement device in use. For details, refer t o the ColorNavigator User’s Manual (on the CD-ROM).
• SelfCalib ration can also be executed when there a re no computer signals being input.

4-1. Setting Calibration Details

Setting monitor date and time
Set the monitor date and time.
Note
• When ColorNavigator is s tarted, the date and t ime are automatically set. For details , refer to the ColorNavigator User’s
Manual (on the CD-ROM).
Procedure
1. Choose “SelfCal ibration” from the Adjustment menu, and press .
2. Choose “Sett ings” from “SelfCalibration”, and press .
3. Choose “Clock Adjustment” f rom “Settings”, and press .
The Clock Adjustment menu appears.
4. Set date with or , and press .
5. Set time with or , and press .
Attention
• If the main p ower supply is disconnected for an extende d period of time, the clock may need reset ting.
