Turbo grill
Forhighroasts such asporkloin,leg orpoultryitisadvi-
sabletoselectthe function turbo grill withtemperature
settingsofabout150 to 190 oC.
The infra--redgrill operatesalong withthe fan. Inthis
way,notonlythesurface of the grill food isbrownedand
grilled,butthe grill heatisled intensivelyto all sidesof
the grill food.
Insertthe drip panintorunnerlevel1 or2 and thewire
shelfwiththe grilling food intothe runnerabove.

Roasting with
hot-airand top-/bottomheat
The length ofroasting time dependson the kind of
meat,weightandheightof theroast.Basicallyyou rek-
kon percmheightofmeat:
beef, game 14 --17 minutes
pork,veal14 --17 minutes
fillet, roastbeef10 --12 minutes.
The higherthe roastis, the lowerthe temperature
needsto be.
The doneness can be checked bypressing the meat
downwith a spoon. If the roastdoesnotgiveway,itis
done.
Afterswitch--offleavethe roast foranother10minutes
intheoven sothatno juicewill be running out,whenyou
cut the roast.
Roastingonthewireshelf
Placeroastonwireshelfwithits serving side turned up-
ward. Insertbaking sheetintorunner1 and the wire
shelfdirectlyaboveitontothe runner.
Roastinginthepan
Putlean meat, game or meatloafdirectlyintothe drip
panorinavesselontothe wireshelf. Putshort--roasts
onasheetintothe oven.
Incasethereisneed foraroasting time ofmorethan
an hour,putthe ingredientsforthe gravy intothe pan
onlyhalfan hourbeforethe end ofcooking time,have
thembrowned and fill inalittle hotwater.
