SLOW DOWN BEFORE CHANGING DIRECTION ON SLOPES. Never use reverse to reduce speed going downhill: you may lose control of the machine, particularly on slippery surfaces. Never ride the machine on slopes in neutral or with the clutch out! Always engage a low gear and the parking brake before leaving the machine at a stopped and unattended.

Take care when beginning forward movement on sloping ground to prevent the risk of tipping up.
