3. Lift up the black ink cartridge clamp.
Note:
It’s OK if the tape does not completely tear off along the dotted line.
4.Open the black ink cartridge package. Remove only the yellow part of the tape. Do not remove the white part. Also, do not remove the clear seal on the bottom of the cartridge.

5.Lower the ink cartridge into the holder with the label face up and the arrow pointing toward the back of the printer.
