Using Video Drivers and Utilities

Your system includes high-resolution video display drivers for Windows® installed on your hard disk drive. If you are using Windows 3.1, you can use these drivers to display in resolutions up to 1024 x 768 in 256 colors on an external monitor. Windows 95 provides the Chips and Technology® drivers to do the same thing To select these drivers, use your operating system’s video display or control panel utility.

If you select a higher resolution for your LCD screen, your display is larger than the screen itself. As you move your cursor up and down and from side to side, the screen pans to show the en tire display.

NOTE

Your ActionNote is configured to display in standard VGA resolution on your screen or an external monitor. You can toggle between the LCD, the externalmonitor, or both by pressing Fn F10. You can also set the default video mode in Setup; see “Changing the Settings” for more information.
